  1. EIMC Response to ”Yantian Express” at Freeport, Bahamas

    EIMC continues responding to our client’s requests for marine survey and adjusting services for cargo aboard the “Yantian Express”, following General Average declaration and her arrival at Freeport, Bahamas.

    Our Capt. John Wilson is on site as of February 7th liaising with vessel and GA surveyors and other interests closely monitoring the situation.  We will maintain staff on site in order to keep our clients informed and attend surveys as required.

    We are currently representing over 50 cargo interests – though this volume increases daily.

    Preparations have been underway to discharge cargo, which has not yet commenced.  While fire investigators were permitted to board shortly following vessel’s arrival, cargo interests have been advised we will not be allowed to board the vessel before nor during discharge.

    Our nationwide staff of highly experienced Marine Adjusters and case handlers is also on alert to coordinate and support needs related to loss adjustments as well as GA requirements that will be forthcoming.
